‘Sunless Shadows’ awarded in CinéDOC

Iran’s ‘Sunless Shadows’ has been awarded at the 8th CinéDOC-Tbilisi Documentary Film Festival Georgia.

‘Sunless Shadows’ won the main prize of the festival’s International Competition section.

The documentary narrates the story of five young women who are jailed for murder.

Through breathtaking monologues, the women clarify the circumstances of the murders and even their motives.

Launched in 2013, CinéDOC is the first international film festival in the South of Caucasus that focuses on creative documentary.
